Millions (2004) – 4/5

A charming little flick from cutesy director “Danny Boyle” of “Slumdog Millionaire” fame. Though the plot doesn’t always make sense, and the film doesn’t actually get interesting until 20 minutes in when stuff finally starts to happen, once it picks up, it becomes charming and funny and entertaining and well worth watching.

I especially liked the “robbery” scene in the middle; very well shot, and the music that went with it was perfect. I’d like to see something more serious from Danny Boyle, though I have yet to see “Trainspotting” and that one’s apparently about druggies. Eh.

Great film, worth watching.
